Project Architect Job Description

Hill Studio is seeking a Project Architect who is ready to take ownership of the design process. This role is perfect for a talented professional completing their AXP or recently licensed and looking for a firm where they can truly make a mark.

We are a boutique design studio comprising of Community Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture and Historic Preservation and the collaboration of disciplines is essential to us with passion for our work without silos or egos. We are focused on and passionate about custom community-building projects, creative work spaces and branded environments. Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-End Project Leadership: Leading projects from Conceptual Design through Construction Administration.

• Diverse Portfolio Management: Managing feasibility studies and grant-funded historic rehabilitations.

• Community Impact: Partnering with municipalities and non-profits to address diversity and economic growth through design.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Working side-by-side with our planning and landscape studios to deliver cohesive, high-impact environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience, specifically in project delivery, construction documents, and specification writing.

• Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Revit (3+ years of professional use) is essential.

• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

• The "Soft" Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to transition seamlessly between multiple projects.

• On-Site Capability: Ability to maneuver around job sites and buildings during field visits.

• Responsibilities: Include all the facets of professional practice, from the procurement process, through design and construction documents, and construction administration.
