Smyth County Architecture Survey

Intent: Identify, field survey and document 200 historic resources in Smyth County and prepare a survey report to promote awareness of these resources within the historic context of the development of Smyth County and to serve as a planning tool for the county.

Location: Smyth County, VA

Size: County-wide (200 resources surveyed)

Client: Virginia Department of Historic Resources and Smyth County, Virginia

Collaboration: Smyth County Historical Society, Smyth County Chamber of Commerce, Smyth County Planning Department and the Roanoke Regional Preservation Office of VDHR

Completion: 1996
